CEC Capabilities?

Is there a way to use the CEC feature of Chromecast to turn on and off connected devices, perhaps even volume and input channels? It'd be nice to have this scheduled, or synced with alarms.

Hey there ATom,

I apologize about the late response on this, thank you for being patient! Were you able to figure out the CEC capabilities of the Chromecast? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know things can be pretty tricky to find information online about the subject. It seems like you can only turn on and off the TV, change the volume of the Chromecast, and use the Google Assistant to control those settings as well. You can also cast from several streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc. You can also pause playback, resume, skip around by the minute. As for controlling other connected devices, it does not look like the Chromecast is able to do so at this point in time.
