Nest Thermostat 3rd Generation Enter Key number as requested by App

I am trying the put the Enter Key into my app by looking on the the thermostat but there is no Enter Key on it

please help this is very upsetting and I can no longer use my phone app

Hey KS11,

Thanks for reaching out and I understand how you feel.

You can find your thermostat's entry key by following the steps below:

Press your thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
Choose the Nest settings icon.
Turn the ring to the Nest app and press the ring to select it.
Select Get Entry Key to retrieve a unique entry key.
Follow the next steps below to use your Nest app to add your thermostat to your account.

If there is says, "Already added to an account", you might need to first reset the account connection settings of your thermostat so that it will be disassociated from the email address that it is connected to. Take a look at the step by step guide here: https://bit.ly/3riP5Dp
