Google nest Routines button missing

Hey!

I’ve read a few posts on the missing Routines button.
i have followed the advice of:

- settings /general /language and region /region to US (from the Netherlands)

- uninstall and reinstall app

The Routines button will show up, and then disappear again as soon as I revert back to Netherlands, which interrupts other app use.

For reference, I’m running iOS 15.1 (no pending updates on software available for app or iOS) with a google nest hub display.

The workaround of picture in right hand corner of google home /assistant settings also does not produce an option for Routines.
