Nest App Gen 1 s Gen 2 Cameras

I have a 1st Gen Nest Cam Outdoor IQ with the Nest Aware Plus service and just recently bought the new 2nd Gen Nest Cam Outdoor or Indoor Battery/Wired. I did not realize that the new Nest Cam is not compatible with the IOS Nest App. I hate switching from the Nest App to Google Home App. If I buy another 1st Gen Camera, will I be able to connect both 1st Gen Cameras to the Nest app and view both cameras?

You have just discovered what many of us learned about 3 years ago when the gen 2 cameras were released. In my case I returned the new Gen 2 camera for a refund and purchased a few used Gen 1 cams from Ebay sellers and both times it has worked out great.

I bought a couple 2nd gen cameras from the Amazon sale and I was disappointed to find out the app incompatibility. Thanks for the confirmation, I will return the new cameras
