Hi there,

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear that the Google Home app doesn't take you directly to the camera's event page. I'm happy to help!

To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:

Have you experienced this inconvenience before?

Did you try to install the Google Home app on another mobile device?

Do you have an Android or IOS mobile device?

In the meantime, let's check a few things:

Update the Google Home app: Make sure you're using the latest version of the Google Home App.

App Permissions: Ensure that the Google Home app has all the necessary permissions on your phone.

Restart your phone: This can often resolve temporary software glitches.

Uninstall the app: If restarting your phone doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

when I get notified of an event, when I click on the notification I get taken to the home app's main page but once there nothing happens. when I click on an alert that comes from a camera still available on the best app, I get taken to nest app and see I see the event. is there a setting in the home app or settings in notifications that I need to change for the home app so that when I click on a notification I get taken to the cameras event page and not a 'blank' home page? thanks
