Outdoor Nest Cam (Battery) remaining battery percentage not showing in Home App

I have an Outdoor Nest Cam (battery) that is connected to a solar panel as power source.

I cannot see the remaining battery in % in the Google Home App (IOS), but I can see it easily in my Home Nest Hub, or even in Google Home via a browser.

Is this expected or I just dont know where to look in the IOS app?

We have had a battery camera for 3 years now, plugged into an electrical outlet with the optional power cable. We've never been able to see the battery percentage in the Google Home app unless we unplug the camera; instead, under Settings | Battery, we see "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol.

We cannot see the battery percentage on our Nest Hubs or on the home.google.com website.

Google Nest's online documentation does not seem to document any of this.

Hi, Yes, if the camera is plugged to a power outlet, then yes it will never show a percentage. But if its not plugged, or using solar power, then it will show it, but only via a Nest Hub or via google home using a browser. The problem is I dont see it in my google home iphone App

Hi, my app version is 3.24.101

Unfortunately, I dont have another device that I can try installing Google Home App to.

I only have a Nest Hub, and I can see the battery percentage there.

I tried reinstalling the app in my phone but no change. I can only see "infinity" in my battery..
