No email notifications available on Google Home cameras

Why did Google Home do away with email notifications from Nest cam?

I just started with Google Home app & find Nest Aware to be my preferred choice. Is anyone else disappointed or have you worked around the former ease of use.?

There is no workaround that I'm aware of. The Google Home app simply lacks many Google Nest app functions:

Thank you for answering. I am quickly finding Google Home lacking several features that Nest had. I hope to find out how to migrate back to Nest. Or, are they going to do away with that altogether?

I suspect Google Nest wants to phase out the Google Nest app eventually. They are encouraging people to get the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app and "transfer" their cameras there from the Google Nest app. We haven't done so, and are still waiting for the missing features.

I think you are correct. But I sure wish Google Home would listen to the customers and upgrade their app to contain some very good features it is missing.
