    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/627674"&gt;@Yoyis1952&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have an electrical outlet near your door, you could purchase an OhmKat Video Doorbell Power Supply:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.ohmkat.com/products/ohmkat-video-doorbell-power-supply-compatible-with-nest-hello-no-existing-wiring-required-transformer-adapter-power-kit-supply-all-in-one" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.ohmkat.com/products/ohmkat-video-doorbell-power-supply-compatible-with-nest-hello-no-existing-wiring-required-transformer-adapter-power-kit-supply-all-in-one&lt;/A&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We've used one of these for the last couple of years for one of our 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For some reason, the power adapter that Google sells is NOT compatible with the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://store.google.com/product/ninety7_indoor_power_adapter_nest_hello" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://store.google.com/product/ninety7_indoor_power_adapter_nest_hello&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After you install your doorbell, you'll want to turn off the "&lt;EM&gt;Indoor chime&lt;/EM&gt;"option, since you won't have an indoor doorbell chime.&amp;nbsp; Note that you can instead use "&lt;EM&gt;Visitor announcements&lt;/EM&gt;" (&lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451&lt;/A&gt;).&lt;/P&gt;</description>
