Nest Cam 1st Generation (Wired) Unable to setup and no longer detected by google home

I have two nest cams, first gen, wired. I cannot add either of them to my google home. Neither are detected. I tried the nest app and other options on google home.

I've looked here and seen others have had similar issues unable to be resolved. Are these cameras junk now?

As a Google Nest customer, I'm puzzled about what happened prior to this.

Were you using your 1st gen cameras in the Google Nest app, with visibility in the Google Home app? Did they just suddenly disappear from both apps? Were there any other changes, such as Wi-Fi changes? Do you have any other Google Nest devices? If so, what happened to them?

Or are you on the beta "Public Preview" version of the Google Home app, and did you "transfer" your 1st gen cameras from the Google Nest app to that version of the Google Home app? If so, did they just suddenly disappear from the Google Home app, or did something else happen? If you did "transfer" them, then they can only be added back in the Google Home app.

I didn't perform the most basic of troubleshooting. Reset through the button and they both work now. Thank you!
