google nest doorbell (battery)

I bought a Google Nest doorbell that is battery operated. I do not have an existing doorbell. Will a Google nest mini Work with my Google Nest doorbell so that either an alert or a chime will be played when someone presses the doorbell?

You should be able to turn on "Visitor announcements" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) for your battery doorbell to get a ding-dong doorbell sound and an oral "Someone's at the front door" announcement on your Nest Mini, as long as it is in the same Google Nest "home/structure" as your doorbell.

However, I've seen a few posts in this forum from customers having trouble getting this to work with the battery doorbell.

(It works with our three 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells and our Nest Mini and Nest Hubs.)
