Just realised after purchasing the goole doorbell battery.

No indoor chime and no ringing on phone like the ring did, massive mistake.

If one has no option to hardwire what other options are there for chime?

Might have to go back to ring, soo much easier to use.

Any suggestions? Missing doorbell ringing as can't hear it other that a normal notification on phone, who thought this was a good idea

The 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbells that are installed in the Google Home app do not provide a "ding-dong" doorbell chime on your phone (unlike the older 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells).

However, you can purchase a Nest Mini or Nest Hub and turn on "Visitor announcements" for your doorbell (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) to get an oral announcement and a "ding-dong" sound.
