Cannot reconnect doorbell after construction on door

We moved in a house that left doorbell and security system and had it all working. We had worked done on our door and disconnected doorbell and now that they are finished cannot set doorbell back up. We do not have hex key. Do we have to buy a new doorbell?

You can use a 3/32-inch or 2.5-mm Allen wrench instead of of the hex key.

Are you experiencing difficulties installing your doorbell onto the mount/wall, or are you also encountering inconveniences with setting up your doorbell in the app? Additionally, please confirm the model of your Nest doorbell.

@MplsCustomer, thank you for providing the information regarding the tool to use when a hex key is unavailable for mounting or unmounting the doorbell.

All fixed! Electrician had something wired incorrectly after buying a new one of course. Thank you!
