Is there a way to connect the cameras while I am at a different location then the cameras?

Your phone or tablet has to be close to your cameras to install them; the install process uses bluetooth.

Thank you for posting in the community, and to @MplsCustomer for the information shared! I understand you're asking if it's possible to connect your new cameras while you are in a different location from where the cameras are physically located. I'm happy to help you!

Setting up a Nest camera requires you to be physically present. This is because the setup app (Google Home or Nest) needs to detect the camera locally (often via Bluetooth), and your phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network the camera will use. Therefore, remote setup of a Nest camera isn't supported.
