Are there any other options to hardwire a Google Nest outdoor camera (batt)? With it having constant power. Besides using an outlet and the cord. And not buying another camera.

Hi Oclypso! That's a very good question. When you have a Nest Outdoor Camera, the battery will drain, and if you want to take full advantage of movement, people, animals, or objects, sensitivity, or a longer range, it will consume even more than its usual battery consumption. For this, I recommend using a solar panel connected to the camera, as it will provide the necessary charge no matter if it's day or night. It has packaging that prevents water, dust, or dirt from entering when it's always connected, and you won't have to recharge it again since it will be independent.

Here's the link in case you want to buy an official Google one or another brand. Just make sure you get one with the same requirements, since always being connected is better to avoid damaging the battery.

While this camera is designed to run on battery, you can consider an alternative method to provide it with continuous power without relying solely on an outlet and without purchasing a completely different camera. Ive been researching the solar panel and some people are saying it improves battery but doesn’t give constant power. The solar panel will be in north Dallas TX. I’m wondering if it has enough sun, will it stay charged?

Is there a 2way/1way adapter to install 2 panels on 1 camera? So 2 panels then adapter then camera.
