Google Nest Camera with Floodlight is not working with t-mobile

I've seen similar posts to mine where my google nest camera with floodlight does not work with my t-mobile internet service but couldn't find a solution.

Does anyone have any solutions? I've tried switching to 2.4ghz, I've tried using a hotspot from my phone with the same ssid as my home network. I know my network is fine. My Google doorbell camera works fine. My password is good.

Nothing works. Google tech support has been no help. Please help.

For anyone who's interested, I bought a 5G router that cost about $50, and now the Nest Camera with Floodlight connects to that router SSID and is working. I saw someone elses post that said they used a non t-mobile router to install the Camera, and complete an automatic update after which they were able to use it with the t-mobile router. I'm all out of patience with the amount of time I've spent on this so for now, I'm just leaving it as is.

Ok, so the cheap-o router that I bought cut out or got flaky, and the camera stopped working. So I removed the Nest Camera Floodlight from the devices in Google Home. I could not connect to the camera with the android home app after scanning the QR code. I had to do a hard reset by pressing the little tiny button on the back of the camera. After that I was able to connect to my t-mobile router SSID, and it is now currently working with my t-mobile router. It appears the solution has something to do with the update that the app does with the camera when the camera connects to a non-t-mobile router, and after that you can use your t-mobile router. Fingers crossed this keeps working.

Update:

I was able to confirm that doing the update using the non-tmobile router solved the connectivity problem. After the update to the camera software, which was automatic, I proceeded to "forget" the camera in the Home software, then reinstall it using my t-mobile router. It worked fine for one day. Now it's spotty. Sometimes I can't get live view, so I don't know if it's missing detections like people or animals. At this point I don't know if I'm going to return it. It's not reliable, and it's been such a headache. I'm not sure at this point if I'm going to try a Euphy camera.
