I have a nestcam with Floodlight no QR code sticker No QR code in the back of the camara

The Nest Cam with Floodlight was previously installed but was deleted by mistake. I wanted to reinstall it, but I do not have the sticker or the camera's QR code. What do I need to do to reinstall?

During the installation process, you should be able to select "Continue without scanning" and then enter the 6-character alphanumeric setup code that is printed on the bottom of the camera. You'll probably have to unscrew the power cable to see it so you can write it down.

The setup code is hidden by the power cable that is screwed into the bottom of your camera.

Just to be clear, when I took the hex screw from the first pic I sent, the code should be underneath?

Yes. It should be positioned as shown in the video, though the video exaggerates the size of the setup code. That's where it is on our battery camera, which is the same camera used in the floodlight fixture.

I tried to include a screen capture, but--as often occurs in this forum--got a "cannot save image" error.

If you're lucky, the setup code hasn't been rubbed away. Write it down and save it, because you need to plug the cable back in during the install process.

On the bottom of the camera, next to the power magnet cord you will see some very small numbers/letters that will be your activation code. You will need a magnifying glass, or take a picture with your phone and Zoom the picture to enlarge the image.
