Nest used to be great, then google came along and ruined it. Why are my cameras not recording by the way?

Hi there, PLance1.

I am terribly sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with your Nest Cameras. I would love to assist you further and look into this issue more for you but I need to collect some information first.

When you state that your Cameras are not recording, have you checked to make sure that you have a Nest Aware subscription?
You need one in order for your camera to record events. Without it, you will only have a live feed as an option.
You can learn how to get a Nest Aware subscription here.
Have you recently migrated from the Nest App over to the Google Home App?
Is your Camera connected to a strong wifi connection? If not, that could be why it isn't recording as well.
What other troubleshooting steps have you taken to look into this issue further?
