Newer Nest Cameras and the older Nest App

I don't want to migrate my Nest account to Google. Frankly, I don't trust much of anything about Google.

I've heard that newer Nest Camera's will not work with the older Nest app. How can I identify the older versions of the Nest Outdoor Cam that will work with the original Nest app?
