Why is my doorbell history getting deleted?

I have a Google Ring doorbell. I noticed that after getting notifications of events, I can go to history and check whether there was someone at the door, package delivered, etc. However, my history gets deleted after a day and if I click on full history, it shows "no recorded events" when I know that isn't true. Tried to look through settings, but can't find anything relevant. Can anyone please help?

Amazon make the Ring doorbell and Google make the Nest Hello, please check that you are on the correct manufacturers support forum.

Google Nest uses a subscription based cloud storage service along with their cameras and doorbells called Nest Aware and without this subscription events will only be stored for 3hrs.
