Nest Doorbell (Battery) won’t show Cameron for family members

We set up my husband as a family member. He has access to all of the home products. He can click the doorbell, but there is no feed. It tells him it is “offline” but I can see everything on my app. I attempted to add him as a member in the nest app, but in redirects me back to the Google home app where he’s already a member.

Can you verify which product you are using? The tags show "Nest Doorbell (battery)", but the post mentions the Nest App. The "Nest Doorbell (battery)" does not work with Nest app, only within Google Home app. You would setup the doorbell in Google Home app then invite other family members to the home.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App or available on https://bit.ly/3HtBgJC web app. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration.

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
