I have a vacant house that is under repair and want to install the

Google - Nest Cam with Floodlight - Snow

Model:GA02411-US

SKU:6473270

I have electricity but not any wi-fi set up. Can I use an android phone as a hot spot and will that work. I would need to use data and use it only when I am not there working on the house. nights and weekend. I have been robbed twice and need to stop the thieves.

I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, but I wanted to make sure that your issue was addressed. I am afraid that without a strong wifi connection, your camera will not work as intended. A hotspot connection may work temporarily, but is not a feasible method to gain a wifi connection for your cameras.
