    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/110479"&gt;@dismayed&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We discovered this situation when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) in early Sept. 2021 to complement our existing Nest cameras.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In a Sept. 29, 2021 blog post in this forum, Google Nest promised: "&lt;EM&gt;we are committed to bringing the experiences and Nest devices you have come to love in the Nest app into the Home app&lt;/EM&gt;". And they also promised: "&lt;EM&gt;we’ve also been working on rolling out a desktop experience for the Google Home app, so the new Nest cameras and doorbell feeds can be viewed and controlled from there. This will launch in 2022.&lt;/EM&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Message-from-our-GM-Updates-for-our-Nest-customers/ba-p/17122" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Blog/Message-from-our-GM-Updates-for-our-Nest-customers/ba-p/17122&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, there has been no update whatsoever on this from Google Nest in the last 5 months.&amp;nbsp; Just customer reactions.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just started replacing 14 NETGEAR&amp;nbsp; cameras where we have direct viewing access with Chrome or Safari on any device.&amp;nbsp; I just Bought &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;U&gt;NEST Indoor Wired 2nd Gen&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; cameras with paid &lt;STRONG&gt;NEST AWARE&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;for 30 days of history on all cameras.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Live and History can only be accessed from a phone according to Google Help Pages.&amp;nbsp; This is different from other Nest Cameras&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Is Google going to fix this deficiency or do I return all the cameras&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Why have High Resolution cameras when the viewing platform can only be the width of a phone ?&amp;nbsp; Please say this is going to be fixed.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;THIS IS THE NEW NEST 2nd Gen CAMERA&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;Really Great but can't be viewed from a computer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-left" image-alt="nest-cam.jpg" style="width: 196px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/5794i05647C2F0D13A198/image-size/large/is-moderation-mode/true?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="nest-cam.jpg" alt="nest-cam.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is a computer screen shot from one of our &lt;STRONG&gt;NETGEAR&lt;/STRONG&gt; cameras&amp;nbsp; (its fairly dark outside).       <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm just shocked by the online features/support when the old cameras have a cohesive app and home.nest.com is fully functional.&amp;nbsp; To launch "updated" products without the proper integration is just going to cause existing users frustration and a very poor experience.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I bought a new nest cam to integrate to my existing 6 camera system and have now discovered the new cam has no way to view online. It is absurd. I hope google updates their web integration asap.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Additionally, home.nest.com has all sorts of advanced settings you can use that the nest/google app does not have.&amp;nbsp; I was considering upgrading all my cameras to the new nest cameras, but it's a hard pass for now. I can't in good conscience even recommend anyone buy Nest cameras anymore until google catches the new cameras up with the old app and home website. I hope I can revise my opinion in the future.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
