Nest Hub display Help setup for dementia Mom

I received a “Nest Hub” at holidays, there are no instructions. My goal is to set

it up for

my mom, she has dementia & I want to put games

for mind on main screen & contacts of

ppl she call call by tapping on an icon on main screen. I don’t know how to answer when u ask if I have iOS or Android, my phone is apple, but I’m confused. Would be so nice if someone could help me

this up to help my mom with her dementia and for

her safety at home, she’s Only 94.5 yrs old , can someone help me

Hi Glasslady,

A Google Nest Hub will display either the clock or photograph's on the main screen and this can not be altered to have games and contacts displaying all the time.

You can access contacts and games but this requires swiping downwards on the screen to access the other options.

The reason for this is due to something called 'screen burn in' when the same static image is displayed for long periods it can leave a permanent marking on the pixels of the screen.

If you have an Apple phone then you are an iOS (I operating system) user.

Thank u for your response, I do know my apple

phone means (iOS) I said that wrong? I’m confused how my phone comes into play? I have google one, google drive, and all those google apps on my iPhone, do I have to somehow connect with them?
also I don’t see the app google play on the hub, I wanted to download a game it tells me I can’t and I need to go to google play, there is no google play on hun. Can u help me plz?

Hi again,

A Google Nest Hub is a smart display and can not install apps like a phone. Instead you use assistant actions and you can find a directory of the different actions available here....
