I just wired my Nest Doorbell (Battery) and my new doorbell Dings but does does not Dong.

It is the new Nest Doorbell (Battery) and is hardwired. I followed the instructions, they were not very difficult. My transformer is 16v 10VA, which states that it is compatible.

Any troubleshooting tips I should try?

Sorry for my late response. Thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I just wanted to make sure that your issue is addressed. I would love to look into this further for you! I would like to get some clarification first:

Are you referring to the sound of the ring? Or is this a notification inquiry?
The chime sound cannot be changed, so the sound coming out may be the correct sound.
What other troubleshooting steps have you done?
