Recording on demand?

My neighbor's dogs have become a real issue with their constant barking. With the Next Cam and Floodlight, can you start recording on demand? Say I hear the dogs and want to get it on video - will I be able to use the app on my phone to start recording then save that video and download it to my computer?

Hi Antonia, I'm an end user like you. I'm pretty sure there is no way to do that. But what I suggest is turn on and pay for the NEST AWARE subscription. I use the one where the cameras record 24/7. Then on the timeline is shows you where there was motion and you can even set it to show you when there was sound (like a dog barking). So you can find those occurrences easily. Then you can export them to your PHOTO almost on your phone (assuming you are using the GOOGLE HOME app).
