My camera feed works great, but the doorbell chime (mechanical) doesn’t ring and even worse, it constantly makes a humming sound. Periodically this will intensify and the little piston in the chime will depress for ############ seconds while the whole unit rattles. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for triggering this. Just happens every ############ minutes. Extremely frustrating because I’ve had an electrician look at this twice to no avail. Anyone else experienced this before?

I actually solved this issue. Turns out the wires were mislabeled by previous owner. Try swapping your transistor and door wires. It immediately stopped the buzzing and glitchy behavior of the chime for me.

Yes, it's been driving me crazy. I figured it out today. Click on the doorbell -There's a setting that says shut off indoor chime. This writhed for me, but if you don't have any speakers hooked up to the doorbell, you won't hear when someone's at the door

Using the app I turned off the chime and it worked (not writhed- like it said in my first post). But it's starting to happen again-so far just the periodic humming or buzzing, but the chime hasn't struck yet like before. Is there a fix for this?

It turned out the source of the problem was the wires were actually mislabeled in my home (I recently moved in) and after some guess and check work I discovered I simply needed to switch them around and put the right labels on them. Fixed my problem. Try to make sure yours are actually labeled correctly by disconnecting one at a time and testing. Hope this helps.
