Nest Cam Battery (Nest Aware) No Event History

I got my new Nest battery cameras, a few weeks ago. I have nest aware and it doesn't display 30 day's of event history. I do pay for the 30 day subscription. I only use the Google Home application.

I've tried everything and it doesn't show more then a day's worth of event history. The application has all the added features available for Nest Aware to use; the only problem is the event history. Even the option to store 30 day's of event history is selected in the application.

I personally believe Google is updating their services and this is a known problem. Well, at least I hope. The odd thing is, I've been signed up for Nest Aware for over 3 weeks and I just got a email this morning welcoming me. Also, I think a error could be with how Nest Aware authentication works via the application. I tried posting in the community section in webview and it wouldn't let me. That's just a stab in the dark though.

Unfortunately, the new Google Nest Battery Cameras just released do not record 24/7 event history unless you purchase the optional power cable and have ithemplugged in all the time, and the Google Nest Doorbell Battery does not record 24/7 event history even if it is hard-wired. We purchased the power cable for our new outdoor camera because we wanted 24/7 event history like we have with our existing Google Nest cameras.

I appreciate the links to all this information. However, I'm fully aware of this. I'm talking about 30 days of "Event" based recording.

Nest Aware has two plans:

Plan A:

6$ USD for 30 days of event history and emergency calling and some other smart features.

Plan B:

16$ USD I believe. This allows 24/7 monitoring with the cable connected to a power source.

I appreciate the help, but I'm talking about event based recording.

Sorry. We have Nest Aware Plus ($12/mo or $120/yr), and so don't even see the 30 days of event history option. According to the Google blog link below, you are SUPPOSED to get 30 days of event video history.

I have the same problem can see a few hours event history. The cameras are wired. I also cant see any event history on a desktop computer

Can anybody answer this question? We have had ours for a couple weeks. Until yesterday it had an event history for every day. Now it says no event history for any day except today. Trying to see something that happened late last evening and there is no history. Makes the camera pretty useless.

I’m having the same problem. It worked great for 3-4 weeks. Now the history is only for the last 5-6 hrs.
