2021 outdoor camera battery - Extensive testing indicates a 10 minute cool down for person notifications. I have set to 30second recording.

If a thief enter my home 7 mins after i leave then i will not get a notification? This must be configurable else its a giant security hole for a SECURITY camera

Any future plan for this issue? 10 mins is way long and not reasonable. At least it should be less than 5 mins.

This is the one of the reason that I am not buying more nest cameras. I really wish I can get some updates on this matter.

Yes 10 minutes is WAY to long. The software needs to be able to let you use set this. Maybe 0-10 minutes would be good. But for me even 5 minutes would be to long.

Has there been any update on this issue? Conducted several tests of the Outdoor cam, wired for power, with all settings maximized. All notifications enabled. Once triggered, subsequent notification will not trigger for 30 mins (first test) and 10+ mins on another test.
