Google Doorbell Unmounted

I just purchased a Nest Battery Doorbell. I have gone through the setup and it finished. As soon as I mount the doorbell I get the errors that the doorbell is unmounted and that I need to remount it. I mounted it and remounted it many times with no luck. Reset the doorbell, removed from Home and then readded. Even created a new home to see if that worked. The mount seems fine I am unsure what this issue could be. Any thoughts?

You need of ensure the metal back plate is attached correctly. It will not "mount" without it.
