Nest outdoor 1set generation

Hi have a first gen outdoor camera and I have tried everything to get them working.
ar first when the power goes out they never come back online and have to unplug the usb and wait 10 seconds and reconnect and it work.
Now not even that works anymore.

The device continually times out when I try to access it, or becomes unreachable.

I've tried fixing this using the following:

Rebooting the main wifi router, and the extender.
Changing the wifi channels
Splitting 2.4ghz and 5ghz into different SSID
Completely deleting the camera from my nest account and setting it up again (this works, but the camera setup doesn't fully complete, as it cannot be previewed).
Connecting it to the main wifi router.
Disconnecting the camera from power for 10 minutes and reconnecting the power.

None of this has worked.

would love some advise how to get it going.
