No push notification sound on iphone

Hello. Installed doorbell (battery) yesterday. I’m receiving notifications on my phone but only silently. There’s no sound notification at all. I’ve checked the app settings. Sound is on. iPhone settings indicate sound is on. Volume is up. Nothing.

Have you checked the notifications settings on the iPhone itself? Settings > Notifications and under Notification Style, check to see what settings are on or off.

Hey folks,

Restarting and factory resetting your Google Nest camera or doorbell will have different results:

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

Factory reset: Erases all your settings and options, and restores its factory default settings. It will not automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and you'll need to set it up again.

What are you notification settings for the Nest/Google Home App on your phone? I would check those and see if you are accepting notifications from this device

All notifications are turned on. Phone volume is on and turned up.

This is incorrect.

That would defeats the entire purpose of it being a DOOR BELL. If I’m not staring at my phone when the notification comes in how am I to know someone is there?

This is absurd.

Also, not accurate as the notification sound plays on my husbands android phone and on our ipad.

It’s an issue with the iPhone only.
