Flood light won't turn off

I know there is already a Post on this subject but it is closed so I'm opening a new one.

I just installed the Nest Floodlight Cam and the light stays on all the time. I adjusted the settings, what few settings there are, but it's still staying on - day & night.

The previous thread I saw on this subject did not answer the question nor did it solve the problem. I'd like a solution quickly so I can return this product to Best Buy and try something else.
