topic Nest doorbell (battery) wired issues in Cameras and Doorbells

When I set up my nest doorbell (battery), I chose the wired option. However, even after I connected it to the existing doorbell wires, it is still using battery power.

And because of this, it doesn’t give me the option to use it with my existing chime. Any thoughts on this?

Please and thank you!
