Can not mount mi Google doorbell

Hello, i have a problem trying to mount my Google doorbell. the mounting pieces attached to the wall are fine, but when i try to attache the doorbell to the metal socket you dont hear the click when it is locked.

I have been checking and the round piece above the charge port is pressed down and dont lock the doorbell. Does anyone know what to do?

Hey esancheztinoco,

To attach Nest Hello, simply slide the top onto the wall. Plate and press down until it clicks into place. If it doesn't seat properly or you don't hear a click, recheck that you've tucked any excess wire back into the hole. Learn more here.
