Floodlight Nest Cam just stays on - 24 Hrs

My nest cam with floodlight was working fine as sensor would turn it on and off

today it came on and will not go off -can’t afford to keep it on 24hr - looks like sensor not working to turn it on and off ?
camera is working and lights stay on all hours

please advise

Well I’m wondering the same thing it’s still light out where I am and on the Google Home app I turned the light to off. And I want to see you when it gets dark if the motion sensor works with the switch on our wall still being on…? I don’t know but I’m gonna give it a shot

Hey there,

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it.

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
