Nest Wired Doorbell / Chime Issue

Hello- My transformer and chime blew, had electrician install a new 24v doorbell transformer, Can I use a 16v Chime to replace the Nutone chime that fried? The camera is working using the new 24v transformer, but the chime is not working when the doorbell button is pushed, nor can I hear any communication from the doorbell.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I would love to help however I can. I honestly am no expert when it comes to electrical work. I would suggest for you to contact Support as I believe they would be a better source for answering your questions and helping you out. I would think that it would be good to go over the setup of the chime to see if it is still set up correctly.
