Cameras and Personal Routines

Hello,

While I have been able to setup my collection of doorbells/cameras with the Household Routines (Home/Away), there doesn't seem to be an option to add camera control to Personal Routines.

I am (still) trying to solve the problem of having the cameras turn on (idle mode) when I am sleeping, without just removing presence detection and manually turning cameras on/off every time I am home, away, or sleeping.

This seems so basic and I am trying to understand how others are actually using their Nest Cameras without support for scheduling, et al.

Hi Krutsch,

Thanks for visiting the Community. My apologies for the late response here. Got it, thanks for letting us know. You can set the Home/Away assist settings for your cameras if you like to turn them off when you're home and turn on when you're away. Going over the steps here might help: Change Home/Away Assist settings.
