Google Nest Cam (Battery) not connecting to internet

We purchased the Google Nest Cam (Battery) because we have several exterior and interior wired cams which work fantastic through our property.

Our problem is the Google Nest Cam (Battery) isn't connecting to the WIFI. We have multi WIFI connection. We have giving one WIFI the same password and the WIFI name. We have reset the 2 Google Nest Cams (Battery) multi times but still can not connect during set up.

We have loaded the Google App created a new home and room separate from the Nest Cam hardwired units. Still no luck.

How do you know which WIFI signal the camera is trying to pick up?

One last thing. We have the phone app, cam and router within 24 inches of each other.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

What exactly happens when you are unable connect either of your Google Nest Cameras (Battery) to your Wi-Fi? Why do you have multiple Wi-Fi connections? This sentence isn't clear (at least to me): "We have giving one WIFI the same password and the WIFI name." Why do you want a separate Google Nest "home" for your battery cameras, separate from your wired cameras? (A Nest Aware subscription applies to only one Google Nest "home".)

In the last couple of years, Google Nest has been using an install procedure that looks for an existing Google Nest device--an "assisting device"--and tries to get the Wi-Fi network name and password from that device. That means its looking for a Nest device that's on the same Wi-Fi as your phone and in the same Google Nest "home" you have open in the Google Home app. However, the "assisting device" process often simply fails.

" Why do you have multiple Wi-Fi connections" We have 9 buildings and each building has its own router and modem. Some of the signals over lap. The 9 building have different log-ins.

"Why do you want a separate Google Nest "home" for your battery cameras, separate from your wired cameras?" Before we installed the Google APP then merged Nest Cam App, Nest Cam App was search for an already installed hardwired camera. After the installing and merger Google App and Nest Cam, we cant find either of the 2 Google Nest Cam (Battery)

As just another Google Nest customer, I'm not sure I have the expertise--or the understanding of your situation--to help you. You may need to contact Google Nest Support. But here are a few thoughts:

1) "The Google Home app supports only one Wi-Fi network per home.... You can create up to 5 homes, with a single Wi-Fi network in each." (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9547597?hl=en)

2) "You can only view and control products in one home at a time with the Nest app. If you have another home in the app, you’ll need to switch between them." (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9293015?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid#zippy=%2Cmove-a-nest-product-to-another-home%2Cswitch-between-homes-in-the-nest-app). This is also true of the Google Home app.

3) Since you have 9 different Wi-Fi networks, I believe you'll need 9 different Google Nest "homes", and you'll only be able to view one "home" (with its cameras) at a time. However, you can only have 5 "homes" on the same Google account (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9293015?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DiOS#zippy=%2Cmove-a-nest-product-to-another-home%2Chome-and-product-basics).

4) I don't know how well the Google Nest app or Google Home app handle switching between Google Nest "homes" that are all on different Wi-Fi networks. They may handle it just fine; I don't know.

I'm not clear what's happened in your case, because I don't know what you mean by "merged Nest Cam app". If you installed battery cameras in the Google Home app, had hard-wired cameras in the Google Nest app, and then migrated the Nest account for the Google Nest app to the same Google account you used in the Google Home app, you should have been able to see all of your cameras. But I think the fact that you have 9 Wi-Fi networks is a major complication. I believe the mobile devices you're using to log onto the Google Nest app and the Google Home app need to be on the same Wi-Fi network, and they need to have been on the same Wi-Fi network when you installed cameras on each app.
