Nest Doorbell Will not turn solid blue

Changed wifi and could not get Camera to work, found a solution on here to factory reset by pressing the back off the camera with a pin for 10 seconds which is incorrect.

Hold front camera button and press the back with a pin for 10 seconds for a full factory reset and you should see the cam turn solid blue.

I have the same disconnect issue after changing network names. I have deleted the cameras from my app but now they will not connect. I get a C106 or C119 error code. Any ideas? My cameras don't have a button on the front.

Since you seem to have a Google Nest Outdoor Camera (however, your title says "Nest Doorbell"), are you able to use these instructions for changing Wi-Fi settings for 1st gen Google Nest cameras?

Thanks for the reply. I think I've tried everything! If I stick a paper clip into the base of the camera there really doesn't feel like there is a reset button. Nothing moves inside. I can't believe changing the name of the newtrok would make a camera go offline. I'm technical enough to be dangerous and I've spent two hours trying to get these cameras back online!!

I do own a few nest outdoors cameras as well but this is specifically a solution for the nest doorbell camera.

The front button would be the one that rings the chime and the back would be the little hole that you can only press with a pin.

It's because Google Nest does not make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings. That's why, on that same link (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9223711?hl=en#zippy=%2Cuse-the-nest-app), their first recommendation is to keep the network name and password the same: "The simplest fix for most Nest products is to update your home network so that the network name (SSID) and password are the same as before." That's what we did when we got a new router/modem.

And are you unable to use these instructions for the Google Nest app to update your Wi-Fi settings?

In the Nest app, you can usually update Wi-Fi information over Bluetooth.

Go to the same room as your camera, and turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, then follow the steps below.

1. On the Nest app home screen, tap Settings Nest settings icon.
2. Select Home info then Home Wi-Fi help.

Note: If you don’t find Home Wi-Fi help, you’ll need to remove your camera from the app and add it back with new Wi-Fi information. You’ll lose your video history so make sure to save any important video clips before removing your camera.

3. Select the camera you want to update.
4. Tap Start and then Update settings.

Follow the on-screen instructions. Scan the QR code on the back of your camera when prompted.
