Hey Sf5888,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. What's the status light of your Nest Hello? Check if the wires are securely and properly connected. Check the Voltage reading: verify that the voltage meets the minimum voltage required for your device.

To check the voltage on the doorbell wires, make sure the breakers for the doorbell are turned on.

Note: On most multimeters, the AC current is designated by V or VAC.

Set the dial to 200VAC.

If the multimeter doesn’t have a 200 setting, choose 100 or 250 instead.

The general rule of thumb is to not set the dial too high (500+) or too low (50).

Place the leads on each wire. Unlike the Nest thermostats, it doesn't matter what lead (red and black) goes to a wire.

The expected readout should be somewhere between 16 and 30V (12 and 24V for Europe).

Let me know how it goes by replying to this thread.

Thanks,

Hello my google (wired) nest doorbell went out after a power outage and won’t turn back on. I reset the breakers and rest the doorbell as well. Power is good everywhere but not sure what’s going on with my doorbell unit.
