Nest doorbell is peeling

Doorbell is peeling and it looks aweful. Is there a way to fix this?

There are over 360 posts in this forum on "peeling" Google Nest Hello Doorbells. Google Nest says they "cannot" replace them if they're beyond the 1-year warranty. We bought a silicone "skin" on Amazon to cover the peeling shards on our 2-year-old Nest Hello.

If your brand-new 2nd- gen Google Nest Doorbell (wired) is already peeling, you would be covered by the warranty and could contact Google Nest Support (or return it to your retailer):
