Nest indoor wired cameras constantly going offline

Hello,

I added 2 wired indoor Nest cameras to my set up in June 2022 and they go offline for hours almost everyday. I have AT&T fiber internet. One of the cameras is about 3 feet from my wireless router and the other is maybe 25 feet from an extender. Neither camera is exposed to extreme temperatures and it happens any time of day or night. I have tried unplugging them from time to time in an effort to resolve this issue, but had no success. Any suggestions or known issues that might explain my problem?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. A few questions: what's the status light of your Nest cameras? Are you getting any error messages? Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera? Also, do other devices experience slow internet speeds?

I am not getting any error messages and there are no other devices near the cameras. I have gigabit fiber internet which never seems to be a problem.

Hello Sarool,

Thanks for getting back to us and I know how it feels when your Nest cameras are not working. Let's see what we can do here. To confirm, what is the light status of your Nest cameras while offline? Are they connected on the same Wifi network like your other Nest cameras?

Give these steps a try:

Restart your Nest camera and Wifi router.
Reinstall your Google Home App.
If the issue persists, reset your Nest camera to the factory default.
Re-add the Nest camera to the Nest App.

Thanks. One of the indoor cameras is currently offline and has a solid green light. Unplugging it and plugging it back in gets it back online, but it’s only a matter of time before it goes offline again. The camera is 3 feet from my wireless router
