Thanks for quick response. Whilst my wife and I both use the Nest App on our iPhones I wanted the diagram to confirm pairing of the tiny Audible Ringer, so that anyone who is near the front door will hear the Ring, if our phones were not nearby. It would also surely confirm to the caller that the Chime has rung like a standard Doorbell.

Based in the UK, I have just received my new Google (wired) Nest Doorbell and don’t have an existing wired Doorbell. I have therefore purchased an additional 13 amp mains plug adapter. The only small Ringer came with the Doorbell and it’s unclear as to how to wire it. One pair of cables with tiny screw hooks and an additional pair with plastic terminals. Would be grateful for guidance.

The two wires simply connect directly to the doorbell since there was no chime. In our case, we simply did not use the chime connector that came with the Nest Hello.

The Series 2 Doorbell came with a small 1/1/2 “ inch round Ringer as an additional Chime. It looked as if it was required the other side of the window frame? It has the two pair of cables. One pair of has the two wire cleats and the other pair of attached cables have the white Plastic connectors. As I don’t have an existing doorbell, does this mean that this unit is not required and the only sound will be from our phones wherever they may be? Can it be paired with the twin cables from the 13amp adapter?

Hello everyone,

Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. I'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.

Best regards,
