If I bought my Nest Doorbell from ADT do I need a subscription from Nest aware to get my notifications???

if I want my wife to also receive these do I need a second subscription???

It depends on whether ADP includes a Nest Aware subscription. If you go to Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Home app, do you see a Nest Aware subscription listed? To include your wife, you do NOT need a second subscription. Instead, go to Settings | Household and add your wife as a member of your household; she has to have a gmail account for that to work.

Oh, and you do NOT need a Nest Aware subscription to receive notifications. Nest Aware gives you access to view event video history.
