Doorbell notification on iohone

I am not getting doorbell notifications on my iPhone. I get them on my nest home device.

when In settings the doorbell does not have a notification option like it does on my nest camera I get notifications from my camera

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.

what device are you recommending me restart? iPhone or doorbell? If doorbell how do I do that?

Hey folks,

I’m sorry for the confusion here. Try restarting your doorbell. Let’s sort this out — a few questions: what’s the model of your doorbell? When did you first notice the issue? Also, is this your first time installation?

Here’s how:

Restart your doorbell:
- Locate the reset pinhole at the back of the doorbell.
  
  Tip: The reset pin on the Nest Doorbell (battery) is located below the USB port at the back of the doorbell.
- Press and hold for 5 seconds.
- Your doorbell will restart, and the status light will be steady, solid white.

let me share some additional information:

I have a nest hello wired doorbell. Originally I had 2 thermostats and one doorbell. I used the Nest app and everything worked fine - able to manage thermostats and receive notifications from the doorbell camera.

I then purchased a wireless google camera and a Google nest hub. I then switched to the google home app and that is when the doorbell/camera stopped sending notifications. The stand alone camera send notifications, I am able to manage the thermostats and also able to manage the doorbell/camera. But no notifications.

Appreciate any help you can provide

Do you have notifications enabled on all of your device settings? Also, have you ever tried to factory reset your doorbell? That may help clear out issues like this as well, but please look over the process here before you choose to move forward with a factory reset.
