Reinstall Home: is it safe?

If I uninstall Home, will all the camera settings and links to Kasa lights remain intact when reinstalling home?

I removed and reinstalled the Google Home app on my iPhone earlier this year after notifications quit. I did so again last week as a trouble-shooting step with Google Nest Support with regard to the Netflix interface breakage (now fixed). After reinstalling, I logged back in with my Google account and all of my settings were still there.
