Is the CHIME CONNECTOR required for a ELECTRONIC WIRED CHIME when installing the 2nd GEN Nest doorbell? Wiring ?

Yes, you will need to use the provided Chime Puck, as that is the chime connector for this device. You can learn all about the installation via this link here.
