Nest Doorbell Battery

Hi how do you charge the battery in the Nest door bell ? Can you remove it & charge it inside or does it have to be done while it’s in the device.
Haven’t got one yet just doing some research before I buy.

You would take it off the mount to charge inside via USB, it takes about 4.5 hours to fully charge,
