No sound on phone when doorbell is rung

I had a Ring doorbell but when it died, decided to go with Nest. It’s installed but when I ring it, there’s no sound notification on my phone like I had with Ring. Is that not a feature? Thanks.

You should get a standard iOS notification sound unless you've turned it off, but no "ringing" sound. You cannot configure the sound.

Thanks. I should’ve bought another Ring! I’ll not be recommending Nest! Makes doorbell pretty useless if you can’t hear doorbell inside the house 🥵

Hey there,

Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
