Still not working... As a temporary fix, I had to borrow a google speaker from work. It's amazing how difficult this is given that I can watch a video from my Alexa app (which frankly I don't need), but can't set up up to make a "ding-dong" sound in my house...

As Alexa is not a Google or Nest made product/service, it is not a guarantee that all devices can be connected to the Google Home app or link with your Nest products. Sorry to hear you are unable to connect the two products together. Please share your feedback in the app.

It still doesn't work. Thankfully I was able to borrow someone else's google speaker, so problem solved but not fixed.

I wish I had known this before I spent a lot of money scrapping my old system.

We understand that you're still having problems connecting your Nest doorbell to your Alexa speaker. I found an article that might help you with this issue. In case the steps did not work, you might want to contact Alexa support team and ask for assistance.

What are the steps you've gone through with the Alexa support team? They should be able to assist you with this since it's their product. We've confirmed that your Nest doorbell works well with the Google mini speaker that you have there.
